Support Dan O'Brien in Chicago 2009

Dan O'Brien

Name: Dan O'Brien
Current City: Chicago
Past Marathons: First Marathon
Time Goal: 4:30
My girlfriend, Rebecca Garrett, who ran the 2008 Chicago marathon on behalf of SCIS introduced me to Geoff a couple years ago. After watching her train last year and getting to know more about this great cause as well as the people it can help, I felt compelled to participate myself. Enduring the challenge of running a marathon and helping raise money for SCIS is nothing compared to the challenges those who have sustained spinal cord injuries face every single day. Being part of Team SCIS is something I will be proud of come race day.
