Inspiration:

In year three of Team SCIS at the Chicago Marathon, I am amazed how far it has come--47 runners this year. It wouldn't have been possible without my best bud running the marathon program, my bro building the website and my parents sending out thank you notes. We don't have any paid employees, yet we've managed to raise almost $110,000 for SCI research and counting. After visiting 2008 and 2009 SCIS fund recipient Dr. Stephen Davies' laboratory, I was blown away by the promise of the cutting edge scientific research we fund. SCI is a public health emergency and it can and should be cured--all that is needed is funding. I strongly encourage your donation to one of our Team SCIS athletes. This is significant, impactful work that we are all doing, and you, our donors, make it possible.
