Reason for SCIS:
I've always been a runner. I raced competitively through high school, but never knocked the marathon off the to-do list. This October, I’m taking care of the marathon while raising awareness for victims of paralysis. Running the Chicago Marathon for SCIS is an important cause. There are millions of people who are suffering from paralysis, desperate for advances in medicine. SCIS directly promotes researchers and doctors working to end the suffering, and I'm proud to dedicate my efforts to the cause. Please support me and acknowledge all the people who don't have a chance to run.
