Neel Shah

Chicago, IL

Past Marathons:

Chicago 2010

Marathon Time Goal:

Under 4:00

Reason for SCIS:

I like running long distances because they let me exercise my body and my mind. The mental clarity that I achieve at the end of a marathon is unmatched by any other activity. Finishing the race will be grueling work, but the journey is made easier knowing that I carry Geoff's inspiring story and the hopes of all those suffering from spinal cord injury with me. I am running for SCIS so I can celebrate the gift of mobility and raise awareness of spinal cord injury.
